Welcome to the Manage Your Medicine Blog

Hello there. My name is Dave. I have created this blog to help get the word out regarding managing your medicine. Recently my mother was admitted to the hospital from what turned out to be mismanaged meds. While she was there I came across a product called the MedCenter System.

The MedCenter System is a monthly medication organizer and reminder system. It holds 31 days worth of pills for up to 4 times a day. The best part is, there is a talking alarm that can be programmed to go off at the times you need to take your medication. The alarm will say: “Good morning, please take your morning pills for the 20th,.beep beep beep” Then you press the red button and it says “Acknowledged, the next reminder is at 11am…”

Since she has had the MedCenter System she hasn’t missed a dose. I thought this product was so cool that I decided to become an authorized reseller and help keep others from making unnecessary trips to the hospital or doctor.

Poor medication adherence can cost an extra $2000 a year for each patient in extra doctor visits alone and its associated with as many as 40% of all nursing home admissions. All this results in 177 billion a year in medical bills and lost productivity.

MedCenter Systems has some other products too. They have a 6 alarm clock that you can record your own messages. For example. Lets say you have a grandparent that needs to check their blood sugar at 5pm every day but they don’t always remember. You could program the alarm to say “ Hey grandpa, its 5pm, time to check your blood sugar” then set that message to repeat every day at 5pm. How cool is that!

Hope you take a look at my web site. http://www.manageyourmedicine.com/

Thanks for looking
